Learn practical clay/ceramic skills and techniques which will be embedded through a variety of pottery projects suitable for your level of skill and ability, by creating several simple clay pieces. This includes clay handling, hand building techniques, throwing on the pottery wheel and exploring the varied methods of alternative firing, slip work and glazing techniques.
Ceramics Learners Travel to Greece for International Work Experience
Ceramics learners have begun a two-week international work experience placement in Greece, funded through the UK Government’s Turing Scheme. The placement will see learners gaining hands-on experience, exploring traditional and contemporary ceramic techniques, and working alongside local makers, while documenting their journey and learning throughout the visit.
