Discover the creative possibilities of clay in this engaging hand-building pottery course. You will explore a range of hand-building techniques, including pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and decorative surface design, to create unique ceramic pieces.

Suitable for beginners and those with some previous experience, this leisure learning course provides a supportive environment in which to develop practical pottery skills, creativity and confidence while working on a variety of projects.

Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, develop your artistic practice or enjoy a creative hobby, this course offers an enjoyable introduction to the art of hand-built ceramics.

Resources and materials: Clay, tools and essential equipment are provided. Learners may be required to purchase additional materials for specific projects.

  • No prior experience needed
