If you are new to pottery, or have very basic knowledge, this short course offers a friendly and creative introduction to using studio equipment and making your own ceramics.
Across six weeks, learners will explore hand‑building techniques and create a range of decorative and functional items, including ceramic cane toppers, personalised plant labels and a slab‑built piggy bank.
During the course, learners will be guided step‑by‑step through the process of shaping clay, refining forms, decorating pieces and applying stoneware glaze. All completed work will be fired and ready to take home and enjoy.
