This intermediate ceramics course is ideal if you have some basic experience with clay and Raku and are ready to develop your skills further.
It is specifically designed for learners who have not completed Entry Level 2 or above in hand-building, ensuring you progress at a consistent, accessible pace.
Course information
During the first five studio-based weeks, you will increase your understanding of hand-building methods, refine your technical abilities, and explore more ambitious forms and decorative approaches with the guidance of an experienced tutor.
Week six, you will apply widely used Raku glazes and have the opportunity to watch an unforgettable tutor-led Raku firing - a dramatic, atmospheric process that results in stunning, one-of-a-kind finishes.
