This ceramics course is ideal for learners with little or no prior experience of working with clay. The course provides a supportive and welcoming introduction to ceramics, focusing on building confidence, creativity, and essential practical skills at an accessible pace.
Course information
During this 7-week course you will -
- Learn clay hand-building techniques while creating a collection of beautiful seasonal projects inspired by celebrations and events throughout the year
- Explore pinch pots, slab-building, coiling, joining techniques, texture, decoration and finishing methods, gaining the confidence to turn simple ideas into unique handmade pieces
- Be introduced to basic enterprise concepts including pricing, presenation and selling handcrafted products

- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- Attend an Initial Assessment
- No prior experience needed
