In this course, you will continue developing your hand-building skills, with a focus on using slips and glazes to enhance your work.
As a follow-on from our Entry 2 course, you will build on the techniques you’ve already learned, refining and expanding your abilities throughout the course.
Course information
During this course you will -
- use the hard slab building technique by creating a seasonally inspired slab-built house, that can be solid or incised to use as a lantern
- build up knowledge of how to decorate and model with clay
- apply slips and underglazes
- apply transparent and reactive glazes
You will gain a qualification in NCFE Entry 3 in Creative Crafts.
Entry requirements
- You must have English at a minimum of Entry 3
- This is an ideal progression course from the entry 2 qualification
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course

3 hours a week over 6 weeks
