If you have a basic knowledge, feel confident in completing multi-step tasks and activities and feel confident working more independently then this course is for you.
You will gain confidence by making and decorating a pottery project using hand building techniques over the duration of the course.
Course information
During this course you will -
- learn how to create larger coil-built structures
- learn studio practices - basics of reclaiming clays
- plan and design larger structures
- use oxides to add colour
- understand differences between clay types
- understand differences clay fired at different temperatures
Entry requirements
- You should have completed the beginners 3 course or can demonstrate ceramic skills
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course

2.5 hours per week for 11 weeks (including induction)
