This course introduces learners to the fundamentals of floristry, including tools, materials, design principles, and practical techniques. Learners will develop creative skills to produce floral arrangements and gain an understanding of health and safety in floristry.
Course information
During this 6 week course you will learn to -
- Identify and use basic floristry tools and materials safely
- Condition flowers and foliage for freshness
- Apply design principles such as balance, proportion, and harmony
- Use wiring, taping, and foam techniques to create arrangements
- Plan and execute a final floral design
- Reflect on learning and present work professionally.
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- No formal qualifications required, interest in floristry and craft preferred.
