This 10-week intermediate course is designed for crafters who are confident with the basics and want to explore more advanced techniques, tools, and design ideas. Each session focuses on a new challenge, helping you refine your skills and develop your own creative style.
You’ll dive deeper into the world of papercraft, learning how to design more complex projects, use advanced tools, and combine techniques for professional-looking results. Expect to experiment, problem-solve, and create beautiful, functional pieces.
Course information
During this 10 week course you will learn -
- advanced cutting and folding techniques (e.g. pop-ups, kinetic cards)
- layering and dimension-building for 3D effects
- precision work with die-cutting machines and embossing tools
- mixed media techniques: incorporating fabric, thread, and found materials
- designing your own templates and patterns
- advanced card-making, box construction, and decorative elements
- finishing techniques for a polished, professional look
Projects Include -
- pop-up and interactive greeting cards
- decorative gift boxes and packaging
- mini albums and journals
- dimensional wall art and paper sculptures
- themed sets for holidays or special occasions
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- For learners with basic paper crafting experience or have completed the beginners paper crafting course
