Course information
During this 10 week course you will learn to -
- master complex stitches including heavy chain, cable chain, magic chain, and threaded back stitch
- explore elevated decorative techniques such as whipped woven wheel, raised cast-on stitch, and flat stitch using two needles and contrasting threads
- learn how to transfer designs onto mixed media like paper, photographs, and delicate fabrics such as tulle and organza
- discover how to design and embroider on translucent fabrics with precision - ensuring no visible thread trails
There are stitch guides to follow, and the opportunity for you to design your own hand embroidered piece.
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- For learners with basic embroidery experience or have completed the beginners embroidery course
