Course information
During this 10 week course you will learn -
- how to set up and stitch in an embroidery hoop
- understanding hoop tension and thread tension
- how to separate stranded thread and thread a needle using a threader
- choosing the right needles for different stitches
- mastering basic line stitches: back stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, split stitch
- exploring decorative stitches: woven wheel, French knot, cast-on stitch
- embroidering on stable materials like felt and cotton calico
