Learning the skills needed to have accuracy in speaking, reading and writing in English correctly means you need to have a good understanding of English grammar. This course will help you build your skills in a second language where you need to learn and practice the skills of using grammar that is unfamiliar and different to that in your first language. This course will help to develop these skills and use them effectively.
Course information
During this course you will -
- use our Level 1 and 2 packs to identify and use English grammar with a focus on tenses, subject-verb agreement and using articles
- use grammar to produce texts and writing that is needed in everyday life
- use accurate grammar when communicating in different formal and informal ways
- recall examples of when and how to use English grammar to help you to read, write and communication more accurately
- prepare to move onto the functional skills qualification course
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- You will complete an initial assessment before you begin the course to ensure you are studying at the right level
