This apprenticeship is for individuals working within an office-based customer service environment. The role of a customer service practitioner is to deliver high-quality products and services to the customers of their organisation.

You will learn how your actions influence the customer experience and how to provide a high-quality service to customers, which will be delivered from the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customer’s own locality.

You may be the first point of contact and work in the private, public, or charity sector.

During this course you will learn a full range of skills that you will need in your role including -

  • regulations and legislation
  • interpersonal skills
  • communication
  • influencing skills
  • personal organisation
  • dealing with customer conflict and challenge
  • reflection and self-development
  • ICT including using the company’s bespoke packages

You will work towards gaining an apprenticeship standard in customer services. The apprenticeship standard contains a list of skills, knowledge and behaviours you will need to have learnt by the end of your apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

  • You need to be aged 16 years and over
  • GCSE Grade (D/3) and above in maths and English (or equivalent). If you do not have these grades then call or email to discuss
  • You need to be employed to start this course, If you are not employed then we can help look for an employer
