During this one-day course you will learn -
- the responsibilities of employers and employees
- the benefits of good health and safety
- steps to a risk assessment and how they can reduce accidents
- near misses and ill-health
- typical hazards and controls in a workplace
- common causes of accidents
- emergency procedures
- the importance of recording accidents
You will gain the Highfield Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Grade (D/3) and above in English (or equivalent)
- You are required to complete an initial assessment prior to starting the course if you do not hold the above qualification
