This course introduces learners to the basics of creative crafts, focusing on hand embroidery and paper cutting. Learning will develop practical skills, explore design techniques, and complete creative projects using these crafts.
Course Information
During this 6 week course you will learn to -
- Identify and use tools for safe and accurate paper cutting
- Practice paper cutting techniques and create templates
- Add colour and personalise paper cut designs
- Identify embroidery tools and maintain good tension
- Learn 8 essential embroidery stitches on a sampler
- Transfer stitches onto a sun and moon template using different design transfer methods
- Reflect on your progress and present your work creatively
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- Must not have completed an Entry Level 2 Creative Crafts course before
