This course introduces you to the fundamentals of watercolour painting.
Through guided demonstrations and practical exercises, you will explore key watercolour techniques including brush control, washes, colour mixing, and simple composition.
The course aims to build confidence in using watercolour materials while developing creative skills in a supportive and relaxed learning environment.
By the end of the course you will have developed a range of watercolour techniques and produced a collection of paintings, demonstrating your progress.

- introduction to watercolour materials and tools
- understanding water control and brush techniques
- flat washes and graded washes
- wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques
- colour mixing and tonal variation
- painting simple shapes and objects
- creating texture and natural effects
- introduction to simple landscape painting
- planning and developing a personal painting

- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- No prior experience needed
