Explore the sculptural side of stitchwork in this hands-on 3D embroidery course.
This course is suitable for beginners to 3D embroidery work and more experienced embroiderers who would like to try a different style of embroidery.
Course information
During this course you will -
- complete a stitch sampler with 12 different 3D raised stitches
- look at how and where these can be used in our embroidery designs
- study how to use a wirework frame, completely covering your wire with stitches, giving a 3-dimensional element to your work
- complete a house plant template, using a range of learnt stitches, and wirework frames to add depth and texture to the design
Entry requirements
- You must be 19 or over to enrol on this course
- No prior experience needed
