HTAE apprentices helped bring the magic to the Hull Children’s University Charity Ball 2025, creating book-themed props and displays that wowed guests and celebrated brighter futures for children.
Last week we attended the Hull Children's University charity ball 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Hull — and what a story it was, celebrating a cause that helps open new chapters for children who deserve brighter futures.
It was extra special to see the incredible, book-themed props created by our Signmaking and Joinery and Carpentry apprentices take centre stage after working closely with our partners Hobson and Porter. Together, they designed a range of visually inspiring pieces that brought the enchanting theme to life.
The results truly captured the magic of storytelling — crafting stunning photo backdrops and creative displays that wowed guests and set the perfect scene for a night celebrating opportunity and imagination.
A huge well done to everyone involved for bringing a touch of HTAE creativity to this wonderful event, and congratulations to Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University for hosting such a memorable evening in support of an incredible cause.
