Last week was One Punch Awareness Week, but the conversations have been continuing across our centres this week.
We’ve been privileged to welcome Debbie Akester, who has been sharing her son Scott’s Story with our apprentices, learners, and staff - and the impact has been huge.
The charity One Punch Hull, was set up by Scott’s family and partner Naomi after his tragic death in Hull in November 2022. The campaign is dedicated to raising awareness that just one punch can be fatal.
Their message is clear - STOP, THINK, and WALK AWAY.
We’re so grateful to Debbie for coming in and inspiring our learners with such an important message.
