Hiring an apprentice is an excellent addition to your business.

In a world of increasing skills shortages, particularly in this industry, an apprentice can close that gap and add a new dynamic to your business.

In this apprenticeship your apprentice will work with a wide range of metals, using specialist techniques to shape, cut and join components that form new structures.

This apprenticeship is recognised throughout the sector and will equip your apprentice with the essential skills, knowledge and qualifications for a career in this industry.

The Apprentice will have to pass the BS4872 coded welding test to be entered into the gateway for them to sit their end point assessment, which will consist of a multiple choice test, an interview and a practical assessment.

Once the level 2 is complete the apprentice could potentially progress onto the level 3 - Metal fabricator / Skills England
