Do you have staff with some experience of working as a glass fitter but do not hold any industry-related qualifications?
In a world of increasing skills shortages, particularly in this industry, upskilling staff members is an excellent way to close the skills gap and enable your staff to then be able to train the next generation coming into the trade.
This qualification is recognised throughout the sector and will equip your employee with the essential skills, knowledge and qualifications required and also enable them to apply for a CSCS blue card upon achievement.
Course information
With support from our experienced tutors, the learner will build a portfolio which must include evidence of them -
- maintaining health and safety in the fenestration installation working environment
- communicating and working with others in the glass and related working environments
- locating, transporting, handling and positioning materials and components in fenestration installation
- identifying and confirming installation requirements in glass and related work
they will also provide evidence frm an approved list which their assessor will discuss with them at the start of the course

Up to 12 months - to be discussed upon enrolment

Fees apply to the 2025/2026 academic year, which runs from September 2025 to August 2026
