Course Aims
The course has been designed to help develop confidence in speaking and listening in English.
Entry Requirements
An initial assessment will be carried out before commencement of course to ensure you are studying at the right level or you will progress from a previous course.

Course Content
During this 12-week course you will take part in the following activities:
- Reading and discussing different topics
- Answering questions and offering opinions
- Roleplay activities to practice using English
- Presenting information to a small group
Assessment Method
This course uses RARPA as its method of assessment.
RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five-stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.
