Course Content
During this course you will be introduced to the equipment, taught how to centre clay and learn how to successfully draw up a low cylinder and form a dish. You will gain experience in decorating by applying a stoneware glaze to your creations and be able to collect the work to keep once it has been fired to keep and use at home.
This course offers excellent progression onto our creative pathway, allowing adult learners to study on a part-time basis, attending one three-hour session a week so it can be accommodated alongside employment, childcare and other commitments. It might be of particular interest to those wanting a career change or those just wanting to experience something different and enhance their practical and creative skills.
Assessment Method
