A supply chain warehouse operative plays a key role in logistics and supply chain operations. They handle goods from arrival to dispatch, maintain stock accuracy, and support smooth warehouse workflows.
This apprenticeship requires a high degree of organisational skills and passion for getting things right.

Course information
During this course you will learn a full range of skills that an suppply chain warehouse operative needs including -
- Health and Safety
- Communication (This includes industry terminology (Warehouse, Goods in, Provision of work equipment regulations (PUWER), Storage, Distribution etc)
- Task Organisation (How to use tools and equipment to aid product handling)
- Documentation (How to locate and use operational information, electronic or paper-based – required to fulfil contractual requirements)
- Teamwork (Handover procedures)
- Work Organisation (How to receive products in line with organisational procedures)
- Information technology and digital (How to use management information systems, digital toolsets, following GDPR)
- Environmental and sustainability (How to use resources efficiently, recycling, reuse and safe disposal of waste)
- Stock Control (The principles and requirements of quality control and stock rotation)

Entry requirements
- You need to be aged 16 years and over
- GCSE Grade 2 and above in maths and English (or equivalent). If you do not have these grades then call or email to discuss
- You need to be employed to start this course. If you are not employed then we can help look for an employer
Course duration
12 months plus 3 months End Point Assessment (EPA)
