Do you have a recognised bricklaying qualification, or experience working as a bricklayer? If so, the Bricklayer Level 3 Apprenticeship might be for you!
You will spend one full week at a time on the block release model, timetabled throughout your time on your apprenticeship with Hull Training and Adult Education and the rest of the time with your employer on site.
You would learn a more advanced and in-depth level of bricklaying and hone your skills.
Course information
During this course you will learn a full range of skills that a fully qualified bricklayer needs including -
- health safety and welfare in construction
- work planning and building processes
- decorative panels
- curved masonary
- angled brickwork
- repair, modify, maintain and replace various masonry types and structures
- defect management
- quality assurance
You will work towards gaining an apprenticeship standard in Craft Carpentry and Joinery. The apprenticeship standard contains a list of skills, knowledge and behaviours you will need to have learnt by the end of your apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
- You need to be aged 16 years and over
- GCSE Grade (C/4) and above in maths and English (or equivalent). If you do not have these grades then call or email to discuss
- Level 2 in Bricklaying or relevant experience on site
- You need to be employed to start this course. If you are not employed then we can help look for an employer

18 months plus 3 months End Point Assessment (EPA)
