Develop practical sewing skills and build confidence using both hand and machine sewing techniques in this engaging leisure learning course. Designed for complete beginners, learners will gain an introduction to essential sewing methods, tools and equipment while creating a range of simple projects.

The course provides a supportive environment where learners can develop their creativity, learn new techniques and gain skills that can be applied to future sewing and textile projects.

Resources and materials: Sewing machines and basic sewing threads are provided. Additional materials, including fabrics and haberdashery items, are not included in the course fee.

2.5 hours per week over 10 weeks
